The 52nd Monte-Carlo Television Festival is taking place from 10 to 14 June 2012 and the organizers have just revealed part of the program and of the guest list. It’s a real showcase for television productions of all over the world. So what’s to expect this year?
As usual this event, a chance for professionals to find networking opportunities, will also feature:
- Advanced Screenings of series (Law & Order: SVU and Veep were announced, with possible appearances of the producer/actors)
- Autograph Sessions (based on the program, this seems to be limited to French TV actors)
- a Red Carpet event with TV stars from all over the world. The following actors have been confirmed to attend the festival: Kristen Vangsness (Criminal Minds), Josh Bowman and Madeleine Stowe (Revenge), Rachel Bilson (Hart of Dixie), Xander Berkely (Nikita, 24), Sarah Clarke (Nikita, 24), Kelli Giddish, Danny Pino, Richard Belzer, Dann Florek (Law&Order:SVU), Sidibe Gabourey (The Big C), Gbenga Akinnagbe (The Wire), Jack Coleman (Heroes), Eva La Rue (CSI: Miami), Rocky Carroll (NCIS), Jennifer Morrison (Once Upon a Time, House MD).
- an Award Ceremony with prizes called the Golden Nymphs for the best in Drama Series, Comedy Series, Miniseries, Television Films, TV News Items, News Documentaries, and 24-Hour News Programs.
